Trinity Leeds
Trinity Leeds, Albion Street, Leeds, UK
This is one shopping centre that really focuses on its guest experience. As you probably agree, most shopping centres are the same. If you’ve been to one you’ve been to them all. What I like about the Trinity, is that they go above and beyond with the entertainment during half term and holiday seasons.
Many times I have gone to the Trinity with my family for the event they’ve showcased. It's always around families too, with the added bonus of shopping and the food court, which changes every month with independent vendors.
I set up Tick Tock Unlock, the first Escape Room experience in the north 9 years ago in a small office on Upper Basinghall Street. Leeds was always known as a student city, for fashion and a great place to go out for drinks. The entertainment was non-existent therefore it made me create an experience to cater for all. The Youngest we had was 7 years old and the oldest was 91 years old. It was good to see different generations in one room solving puzzles without any tech involved. Even though we expanded rapidly to other cities Leeds has alway been home with 3 different sites. This didn’t stop us, we launched Hyper Reality Experience, UK’s first VR multiplayer experience with immersive theatre and 4d effects which got us world wide recognition.
It’s amazing to see the city develop over the years and see the food/ leisure and entertainment sectors grow. The BID has really invested their time and money to enhance the city and make it a city to be in. Every week you are seeing new innovative businesses launch in Leeds. London has always been the hub but now it’s all happening on our own grounds and it’s bringing people from all over the world to showcase what we have.
