Coming to it as an outsider, I think Leeds a beautiful city. I'm a big fan of architecture, and
architecturally-speaking - it’s a stunning place. As you walk through the city it’s a real pleasure on each
street you turn into to see Leeds’ history around every corner. I like that it’s an intimate city, and our
students echo that. You can get anywhere in a short space of time. But there are also distinct districts - and there are a lot of different pockets to explore.
Shopping
Trinity Leeds, Albion Street, Leeds, UK
There’s a lot of independent bars, restaurants and shops, but you’ve also got the big national retailers too. Places like the Victoria Quarter are really quite pleasant to walk around, even if you’re not splashing the cash on the designer goods!
Food and Drink

My personal favourites are Trinity Kitchen, which is also popular with students, and there’s a lovely proper Italian coffee bar called La Bottega Milanese which is a firm favourite.
