I love popping in on my lunchbreak. There’s such a great mix of stalls with food from around the globe- like Bahn Mee and Manjit’s Kitchen - serving tasty and reasonably priced grub. I also like the fact you all sit together on communal tables … just thinking about the place makes my tummy rumble!
Roundhay Park
Roundhay Park, Mansion Lane, Leeds, UK
We are so lucky to live in a city with so many green spaces; one of my Favourites is Roundhay Park – there’s such a lovely mix of open space, views, woodland and water. I’ve trained for many a 10K around the lake. If you go down on an evening it’s buzzing with runners, rowers, boot campers and dog walkers.
Hope and Social
Leeds, UK
If you haven’t heard of them then look them up! Hope and Social are a 7 piece band from Leeds – and they are joyous, uplifting and brilliant. They perform up and down the country, including here in Yorkshire. They played at our wedding last year and made our day!
Chapel Allerton High Street
Chapel Allerton, Leeds, UK
What a fantastic mix of independent shops – many of which stock locally made or sourced products. There’s also a real eco theme going on, with a new re-fill shop, vegan café, fruit and veg stall and Chirpy selling lots of locally made gifts. There are also several independent cafes and restaurants – which have far more character than the big chains.
Leeds Skyline

Whenever I’m given the opportunity to film high up and capture the Leeds skyline – I grab it. It’s so varied and in places beautiful, especially given the backdrop of Yorkshires rolling hills. We also have lots of bars and restaurants where you can go up and admire the view from – with a glass of fizz in hand.
