dj’ing and selecting music from his ever-growing archive of sound, ed has been entertaining & educating for twenty plus years. through his numerous residencies, self promoted events, guest appearances and radio programmes for Kmah radio & NTS live. his eclectic and adventurous forays in sound join the dots between numerous genres and locations.
affiliated to the leeds DIY music and arts scene, he made his mark as a co-founder of the leeds based electronic and digital arts collective v3ctor. as part of this collective, ed has performed, promoted & curated a host of events, representing artists and organisations of local, regional, national and international repute.
he is interested & inspired by sample based musics that emerged out of the ‘energy flash’ that occurred in late 80’s-early 90’s UK and it’s connection with the sound system culture of his Jamaican heritage.
