Live at Leeds

Live at Leeds is an award winning metropolitan music festival held every May bank holiday across the Leeds city centre.

Since its launch in 2007, Live at Leeds has showcased thousands of emerging artists, across every genre, to over 100,000 music fans. The line up mixes local and national up-and-coming artists with more established acts in one thrilling day of live music.

The festival takes place in many of the city’s most celebrated venues, including Belgrave Music Hall, Brudenell Social Club, The Wardrobe, Hifi, Hyde Park Book Club, and the Universities.

Buying a wristband gets you in to every gig. Part of the exhilaration is in hopping from venue to venue in a race to see as many artists as possible. The vast spread of venues encourages you to explore the city and find new spaces you may not have experienced before.

Live at Leeds has a long held tradition of showcasing breakthrough talent only months before they rise to global stardom. So you never quite know whether the artist you’re watching at the intimate church gig will be an arena headlining superstar by the end of the year.

Artists who have previously played Live at Leeds before moving on to international stardom and acclaim include Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, The 1975, Sam Smith, and more recently, Sam Fender.

The very best place to find your new favourite artist.”
— Colin Oliver, Futuresound

It’s not an overstatement to say that the crowds at Live at Leeds go wild, creating one of the most electrifying atmosphere’s of any music festival in the country.

Live at Leeds returns Saturday 16 October 2021.  The full line-up has been announced.
