Victoria Leeds Fashion Week Stuns with Eight Days of Style and Spectacle

Chapter 81

Victoria Leeds has once again proven itself the style capital of Yorkshire, as this year’s Victoria Leeds Fashion Week (VLFW) drew hundreds of fashion fans to an unforgettable eight-day celebration of all things chic. Running from 31st May to 8th June, the festival of fashion delivered everything from in-store exclusives to inspiring events, culminating in a sell-out catwalk show that lit up the city.

Hosted by journalist and podcast presenter Michelle Eagleton, the catwalk spectacular took place on Thursday 5th June and was the centrepiece of the week. Featuring iconic British brands including John Lewis, Reiss, Sweaty Betty, Phase Eight, Whistles, Bravissimo and more, the show offered an exciting preview of SS25’s standout trends.

The runway themes were as varied as they were vibrant from: Grandstand Glamour, Ocean Luxe, After Hours and Standout Stripes delivered everything from luxe beachwear and bold tailoring to sleek evening wear. High-energy music and professional choreography, including ballerinas and Vogue performers, added even more theatre to an already electric evening.

Beyond the catwalk, visitors enjoyed a packed schedule of free events across the week. Highlights included taster colour analysis sessions with award-winning stylist Laura Fawcett, personalised tote bag-making, and the Midlife Magic Style Brunch in partnership with The Cut & Craft, hosted by a panel of inspirational women including Christine Talbot and Rachel Peru.

A new addition for 2025 was the Style Lounge, where guests could “shop the trends” straight from the runway, with one-on-one styling advice from local experts Anna Mewes and Louise Pennington.

Fashion met philanthropy too, with the Smart Works Leeds Charity Pop-Up Shop raising a brilliant £9,000 through ticket sales and designer donations—supporting local women into employment through coaching and interview-ready clothing.

Jo Coburn, Centre Director at Victoria Leeds, said:

“From inspiring talks to a breathtaking catwalk, every part of Fashion Week celebrated the unique style experience Victoria Leeds is known for. The energy was incredible, and we’re already excited for 2026!”

With over 85 top-tier fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands set in both historic arcades and award-winning modern spaces, Victoria Leeds continues to be the go-to destination for those who live, love, and wear style.
