Chapter 81

The UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) is ready to take over Leeds this week.

Led by the UK’s leading property events company, Built Environment Networking, and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the third annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds from 21 to 23 May 2024. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.

LeedsBID will host the welcome party on Monday night from 7:30pm at Leeds Corn Exchange. The party will showcase the city with live music, food and drink, and networking, setting the scene for the rest of the week.

You can catch LeedsBID shouting loudly about UK Business Improvement district’s as they celebrate 20 years in the UK; these organisations have invested over £1 billion in local services and events across the nation, helping to deliver better towns and cities for all.

The collaboration, co-ordinated by LeedsBID, will bring insight and expertise to over 10,000 investors, developers, end-users and local authorities visiting the Forum over three days.

LeedsBID Chief Executive Andrew Cooper said: “LeedsBID is working alongside partners across the city to welcome UKREiiF and delegates back to Leeds for the third successive year in 2024.”

“In addition, we are taking a stand for the duration of the conference, collaborating with industry colleagues from the Institute of Place Management, the Association of Town and City Management, the BID Foundation and British BIDs to showcase the value of Business Improvement Districts and the importance of BIDs in the management of places across the UK.”

The Institute of Place Management (IPM), the BID Foundation, British BIDs and the Association of Town and City Management (ATCM) join LeedsBID in the UKREiiF exhibition hall at Royal Armouries from Tuesday (21st)-Thursday (23rd May) to showcase the latest approaches to managing successful spaces and places. The organisations all have place management at their core.

Chair of IPM Cathy Parker said: “It’s fantastic to join UKREiiF in Leeds, an event and a city which have become a real success story.”

“We look forward to a rich discussion over three days on how we can deliver the best outcomes for communities and their stakeholders, working in partnership, and thinking about the long-term renewal of towns and cities.”
