🎶 The Ticket Stub – Music in Leeds this November
Chapter 81
The Ticket Stub is back and brought to you once again by Aire Street Studio, as they give us their favourite festivals and gigs coming up in November.
Local music enthusiasts are in for a treat this month, from multidisciplinary artists, to DIY electronic duos and indie pop. Prepare yourselves to rock out at Belgrave Music Hall, where you’ll be treated to an intimate setting, Additionally, The Brudenell Social Club is another gorgeous venue, being a staple of the city’s music scenes for decades! However, if you’re looking for a more “traditional” typesetting, we also have the stunning Mill Hill Chapel.
That’s not all! The O2 Academy, First Direct Arena, Hyde Park Book Club, The Key Club, and Leeds Beckett University are also hosting performances that you’d hate to miss. Let’s take a sneak peak, shall we?
1st November
Mansur Brown – Belgrave Music Hall
The month of November kicks off strong with a classically trained guitarist, curator and multi-disciplinary artist who writes from the depths of raw emotion; Mansur Brown. Mansur finds himself creating pieces inspired by the rhythmic snap of early ‘00s Timbaland, the swing of Afrobeats and the soothing sound design of Burial – performing live on the 1st of November at Belgrave Music Hall, don’t miss out!
2nd November
Wolf Eyes – Brudenell Social Club
Wolf Eyes, a DIY electronics duo from Detroit Michigan, are set to be welcomed at Brudenell Social Club on the 2nd of November. This duo is known for their unique blend of avant-garde sensibilities and surrealistic elements, they promise to deliver a performance that will take everyone onto Cloud 9.
2nd November
Matthew & The Atlas – Mill Hill Chapel
Also on the 2nd, Matthew & The Atlas are set to perform at the famous Mill Hill Chapel. A five-piece folk band, Matthew & The Atlas combines a woozy, day-dreaming California vibe, alongside dramatic synth-laden electronica and alt rock. Catch them deliver an amazing musical experience in the City Centre this November.
7th November
JLS – First Direct Arena
JLS, the sensational British boy band of X Factor Fame, are ready to be welcomed onto the stage of First Direct Arena on the 7th of November. Having recently reformed in 2020, following their 7 year hiatus, they’re back and better than ever. Performing their “The Hits Tour”, expect all of their unforgettable hits, charisma and amazing choreography. Get ready to sing your heart out and create memories with the boys once again.



8th November
Pearl & Oysters – Hyde Park Book Club
Pearl & The Oysters, a rock band with an excellent sense of style and flavour, are performing at the Hyde Park Book Club on November 8th. This band is known for its experimental and diverse sound, being keen to blend elements of surf-rock, electronic, and psychedelia!
9th November
The Hara – The Key Club
Next up on our list is TikTok sensation The Hara, a dynamic trio that consists of members Jack Kennedy, Zack Breen, and Josh Taylor. The three are set to wow crowds at The Key Club on the 9th of November, bringing their unique style and alternative tunes from the North West of England. They are recognised to mesmerise their audience with their blend of both rock and pop sounds, bringing music that resonates with both nostalgia and contemporary flair.
Friday 10th November
Noah Kahan – Leeds Beckett University SU
The hugely talented singer-songwriter Noah Kahan will grace the stage this November, performing at Leeds Beckett University. Well-known for his soulful voice and introspective lyrics, he has taken the music scene by storm, recently releasing his latest album “Stick Season”. The American singer songwriter will be performing on Friday 10th November.
Saturday – 11th November
The Orb – Project House
Seasoned electronic music group The Orb make their Project House debut on the 11th of November, bringing their psychedelic sound to the Armley venue . Consisting of members Alex Paterson & Micheal Rendall, the group released their eighteenth album in a discography spanning all the way back to 1988. Set to be their “most towering set for years”, the boys will be playing best bits from “The Orb’s Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld” and “U.F.Orb”, as well as some of newer tracks.



Friday 17th November
Lanterns on the Lake – Howard Assembly Room
For lovers of the Indie Rock scene, you can enjoy an appearance from Lanterns on the Lake this November. Recently nominated for the Mercury Prize for their fourth album “Spook The Herd”, the British band are appearing at the Howard Assembly Room, where they will play a medley of their favourite hits. Expect a night of dreamy melancholic indie rock and rock and roll royalty with hall of famer, Phil Selway from Radiohead on drums and percussion.
Sunday 23rd November
Scouting For Girls – 02 Academy
Scouting for Girls, the beloved British pop group, will be coming to Leeds on the 23rd November. Performing at the O2 Academy Leeds, the band will be stringing along all of their best hits, bringing their vibrancy and life to the heart of the city. With key tracks, such as “She’s So Lovely’ and “Heartbeat”, you can expect to see the boys in full force on the back of their brand new album release “The Place We Used To Meet”.
Monday 24th November
Lottery Winners – Leeds University
Our penultimate act for the month of November is Lottery Winners, the indie pop band from Leigh, Greater Manchester. Comprised of Thom Rylance, Robert Lally, Katie Lloyd and Joe Singleton, the group will be performing at the Leeds University Union, coming off the back of their fifth studio album “Anxiety Replacement Theory”. With their tracks made in collaboration with worldwide stars, including Boy George, Frank Turner and Shaun Ryder, the band have taken the music world in their stride, winning the UK’s number 1 album in 2023.
Wednesday 29th November
Sundara Karma – Leeds Beckett University SU
Closing up the month is Sundara Karma, an indie rock band set to be performing at Leeds Beckett University on the 29th of November. This band is filled with energetic and upbeat live performances, blending contagious melodies with introspective lyrics. With limited tickets available, this energetic performance welcomes lovers of the rock landscape, and will conclude the month of November with a bang.
