Chapter 81

When life begins to repeat itself, you can always count on the Leeds Trinity Centre to throw a spanner in the works and serve up a fresh batch of new food talent. Bringing to the table a dazzling new lineup of street food vendors, the Trinity Kitchen invites you to sink your teeth into a brand new selection of tasty treats this summer.

Beneath the iconic 40,000 square foot dome, nestled within the 1,000,000 square foot of retail space, the Trinity Kitchen is committed to delivering the highest quality food, from a whole host of new and exciting vendors. Bringing together a range of flavours, from a diverse range of backgrounds, you can expect to see a vast palate of flavours hitting Leeds City Centre for the next 8 weeks.

So, what do we have on the menu this time?

If a slice on top of a burger simply won’t satisfy your cheese cravings, then you’re in the right place. The second vendor popping up in the Trinity Kitchen this summer is the Cheesy Chip Shop, who deliver an array of sauces, cheeses and toppings to complement their homemade fries. From Buffalo sauce to blue cheese, curry sauce to mango chutney, this vendor promises to deliver a whole host of flavour. With truffle carbonara fries, mac ‘n’ cheese bites, halloumi fries and jalapeno poppers topping off the menu, we can guarantee this is every cheese lover’s dream.

For those of you who fancy bringing a taste of Italy to the drizzly UK, you can enjoy the return of Luigi Street Food Italiano. This Italian vendor is bringing to the table a range of Italian classics, bringing heart and soul to Leeds City Centre. With its famous fried, folded calzone-style pizzas, as well as cheese and tomato fried risotto balls, there’s no wonder this delightful Italian spot is back by popular demand.

Also returning to the Trinity Kitchen is Dog Almighty, who are dishing up their selection of artisan hot dogs and vegan dogs. Handmade in Yorkshire with a variety of homemade and home-smoked toppings, this vendor plans to serve up a meal you’ll relish from start to finish.

Finally, we have Yoi Fried Chicken, who are serving up their fiery flavours and Pan-Asian inspired cuisine. With specialties on the menu such as chicken baos and burgers, you can expect to get your fried chicken topped with the kitchen’s delicious toppings, such as their creamy peanut satay and Katsu curry mayo.

The temporary, yet highly anticipated, vendors will be joining permanent eateries this summer, including Archie’s, Pho, Rola Wala, Tortilla, Pizzaluxe and Doner Shack. We know that with so many options it can be difficult to nail just one, so our advice to you – why not try ‘em all?
