MONOPOLY Leeds Takeover: Finalist for Event of the Year!

We’re thrilled to announce that MONOPOLY Leeds Takeover has been named a finalist for Event of the Year in the prestigious Yorkshire Post Tourism Awards 2024! This recognition highlights the mission to bring fun, connection, and a sense of community to Leeds through interactive experiences that families, locals, and visitors of all ages can enjoy.

As a key partner with LeedsBID, the event inspired by the beloved board game saw 550,000 people take part in the summer activation and, more recently, hundreds of MONOPOLY games generously donated by Hasbro to local schools, youth organisations, and hospitals across Leeds. It was a true celebration of our city and its people, making Leeds the ultimate game board for an unforgettable day of discovery and adventure.
