🗞️ Live Laugh Leeds – September

Those comics who’ve just spent August doing the same show around 30 times in Edinburgh are having a much-needed lie-down. But fear ye not, lest thee missest these amazing touring stand-ups coming to Leeds in September.

We begin with the brilliant Tom Allen, who’s at the Grand Theatre on the 3rd of September. The GBBO Extra Slice and Apprentice: You’re Fired star brings his show “Completely” to Leeds, and we’re told to expect his signature acerbic wit and riotous storytelling.

The first direct Arena welcomes back two huge stars this month. Maybe for those who couldn’t get tickets the first time around? Peter Kay’s bringing garlic bread on the 8th of September and Micky Flanagan’s going out-out on the 30th of September.

But the top prize of a set of steak knives this month goes to the City Varieties. With a simply stellar line-up of some of the best live acts around for September. Sophie McCartney, Geoff Norcott, John Kearns, Jen Brister, Rosie Jones, Jenny Eclair, Peter Serafinowitz as Brian Butterfield and Jordan Gray are ALL playing the Varieties this month. Spoilt for choice.

And as ever, look out for regular comedy nights at the Hi-Fi Club, Headrow House, the Carriageworks Theatre, The Original Oak, The Old Woollen, and the Parkside Tavern.
