Live Laugh Leeds: Comedy Roundup – March 2026

Hey, did you see it? Were you there to witness the greatest event of 2026 so far?

No, not that photo of a fallen prince in the back of a car. We’re talking about something far rarer in these parts: an actual day without rain. Glorious it was. A reason to be positive. A reason to welcome meteorological spring.

But beware the Ides of March… or at least beware the north of England’s commitment to relentless grey. Thankfully, Leeds’ comedy scene is here to lift spirits, warm souls, and dry out soggy moods.

Here are our top picks for comedy in Leeds this March 2026.

The City Varieties spoils us immediately with shows from Test Match Special legend Andy Zaltzman (1st), the lovely Seann Walsh (4th), and cult classic Garth Marenghi brings his This Bursted Earth Book Tour (30th).

Welcome back to Leeds, Greg Davies, (pictured) who brings his Full Fat Legend tour to the First Direct Arena on the 22nd.

At The HiFi Club there are loads of proper club-night stand-up. Leo Kearse (6th) headlines Comedy Unleashed, while doctor-turned-comic Michael Akadiri (7th) pays Leeds a visit. Also on the line-up this month are Brennan Reece (21st), Jack Gleadow (7th), Karl Porter (14th), and Barry Dodds (21st).

Over at The Wardrobe, there’s the brilliant and provocative Jordan Gray (4th), and Luisa Omielan (22nd) brings her one-woman musical pitch to town. Also look out for Dan Tiernan (10th), Ian Smith (12th), Shane Todd (19th), and Alison Spittle (26th).

Happy 10th Birthday to the gorgeous Hyde Park Book Club, which celebrates becoming a big boy/girl by booking a load of brilliant solo shows and cult favourites. Melanie Bracewell (10th), Taskmaster NZ star and purveyor of crisp punchlines, is a standout pick, while Stevie Martin (17th) returns after selling out earlier dates. Also this month: Ray O’Leary (2nd and 3rd), Seán Burke (4th), Amy Mason (11th), and Paul McCaffrey (18th).

At The Glee Club, the brilliant weekend stand-up nights go alongside a tour show from Emmanuel Sonubi (15th), and you can hear all about the struggles of being a retired male model with German stand-up Mario Adrion (26th).

Enjoy a top month of comedy. I’m off to find out which other quotes from the Bard are badly misused or misquoted. Goodbye! Goodbye! Parting is such a chance to sleep Horatio!
