5 Must-See Acts at Live at Leeds In The Park 2025
Rob Chadwick
Live at Leeds In The Park 2025 is set to light up Temple Newsam once again on Saturday, May 24, and this year’s lineup is nothing short of epic. Whether you’re a long-time indie lover, a pop aficionado, or just craving that electric festival buzz, Live at Leeds In The Park is your ultimate summer soundtrack. Think huge headliners, homegrown talent, and unforgettable throwbacks , all in one place. Just don’t check the weather and yes we just went big hitters…
1. Bloc Party – Celebrating 20 Years of ‘Silent Alarm’
One of the most influential indie bands of the 2000s, Bloc Party (main image) are marking 20 years since their genre-defining debut Silent Alarm and they’re playing the full album live. Expect mosh pits, goosebumps, and hits like Banquet and Helicopter that shaped a generation (and probably your student nights at The Cockpit). This is a milestone moment for Leeds.
2. Manic Street Preachers – Legends Return
Alt-rock royalty Manic Street Preachers bring their politically potent and emotionally rich back catalogue to the main stage. Their anthems — from A Design for Life to If You Tolerate This… — hit harder live, and their legacy in UK music history makes this a bucket-list set you simply can’t miss.
3. Sigrid – Pop Brilliance with a Powerhouse Voice
Norwegian pop star Sigrid returns to UK shores after more than two years, and she’s ready to blow the roof off (if there were one). Expect euphoric energy, huge choruses, and bangers like Strangers and Don’t Kill My Vibe that will have the whole field singing along. A must for any pop lover. Anyone else catch Sigrid back in 2017 at the ARIAS when they were in Leeds? or the brilliant Crash Records x Leeds Beckett show in 2022?
4. Yard Act – Leeds’ Sharpest Rising Stars
Making their main stage debut in their home city, Mercury Prize-nominated Yard Act are the post-punk poets everyone’s talking about. Their acerbic wit, social commentary, and no-holds-barred performances are what festivals are made for. Support local and get ready for a set that’s raw, real, and 100% Leeds. Watch our interview with James as he came off the main stage at Leeds Fest in 2023.
5. Natasha Bedingfield – Throwback Pop Perfection
Who doesn’t know Unwritten word for word? Thanks TikTok but Natasha Bedingfield is bringing feel-good Y2K energy to Temple Newsam, and we’re here for every nostalgic second. Grab your mates, grab a drink, and belt out the hits. Sunshine optional. Vibes guaranteed.
