Lisa Angel chooses Leeds for first Northern store opening

Victoria Leeds continues to welcome new names to the city, with independent jewellery and accessories brand Lisa Angel set to open its first Northern store in Victoria Gate this spring.

The Norwich-founded brand has built a strong following through its personalised jewellery, thoughtful gifting and accessible accessories, and the Leeds opening marks an important step in its growth. The Victoria Gate store will be the second Lisa Angel location outside of Norfolk and Suffolk.

Shoppers can expect a mix of personalised jewellery, accessories and gift ideas, alongside selected pieces from brands including Estella Bartlett and Emma Bridgewater. The brand is known for pieces designed to feel personal and easy to wear, making it a natural fit among the fashion and lifestyle names already based at Victoria Leeds.

Lisa Angel joins a growing collection of accessories and gifting brands at the destination, sitting alongside names such as Anthropologie, Astrid and Miyu and Nobody’s Child, which also chose Victoria Leeds for its first Northern location.

For the brand, the move represents a significant milestone as it expands beyond its East of England roots, bringing its focus on creativity, discovery and everyday jewellery to a new audience in Leeds.

A busy period for new openings at Victoria Leeds

The arrival of Lisa Angel forms part of a wider run of openings and arrivals across Victoria Leeds, reflecting continued confidence in the destination and Leeds city centre retail more broadly.

In recent months, brands including TUMI, Nobody’s Child, Aesop, Belstaff, Wax London, Omnes, Dinny Hall, APM Monaco and Finisterre have all opened or expanded within Victoria Quarter and Victoria Gate. Sweaty Betty has also relocated into Victoria Gate, while premium activewear brand Alo opened its first Northern store here, marking only its second location outside London.

Together these openings continue to strengthen Victoria Leeds as one of the city’s key destinations for fashion, lifestyle and gifting, particularly for brands making their first move into the North.
