🌈 Introducing Leeds Pride Chats – Terry George

This year Leeds Pride is set to be bigger and better than ever with a new team leading the way to create an unforgettable festival in the city.

I’m Matt Jameson and as one of the hosts of this year’s event I wanted to take the opportunity to speak to some of the prominent LGBTQ+ community and get their take on why it’s so important. We are talking all things Leeds Pride and what is at the heart of one of the biggest celebrations and what it means to the whole community. My guests include Director of APN Terry George, Deputy leader of Leeds City Council Cllr Jonathan Pryor, broadcaster Stephanie Hirst and Emmerdale star Ash Palmisciano.

I’ll be speaking with some of the performers on the day itself as well as the public on what Pride means to them and how important it is for Leeds to have the event and it remain free for everyone to attend.

There are a series of other Pride events leading up to Sunday 21st July including the All Out Together Charity Ball which celebrates and champions the older LGBTQ+ community.  Join me for some incredible chats from behind the scenes of what will be the most incredible Leeds Pride the city has seen.
