Superheroes

10 February – 18 February | Royal Armouries

This half-term, the Royal Armouries are inviting all superhero fans to sharpen their skills. Brought to you by Yorkshire Circus, learn to leap, crawl, and walk like a superhero in this interactive workshop and watch them fly through the sky. Enhance your skills at the Superhero Academy and blast your family with a foam blaster or in the laser maze.

Chinese Dragons Trail

10 – 18 February 2024 | Abbey House Museum

Want to see which animal you are? Follow along the Chinese Dragon Trail around the museum and learn all about the Chinese New Year and Lunar New Year. Get hands-on with the arts and crafts around the museum. Abbey House is closed Mondays but open Tuesday – Friday 10am-5pm & Saturday – sunday 11am-5pm.

Zog and The Flying Doctors

15 – 17 February | Leeds Playhouse

Based on a best-selling sequel, Zog and Friends is back with a modern take on the classic tale. Zog a super keen student turned air-ambulance, still lands with a bang-crash-thump. Together with his Flying Doctor crew, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout, they tend to a sunburnt mermaid, a unicorn with one too many horns and a lion with the flu!

Leeds Valentine’s Fair

February 12 | Victoria Gardens, Cookridge Street and Millennium Square.

This family-friendly Valentine’s event makes its return to Leeds! Thrill seekers will love the 40m high booster ride, dodgems, and the much-loved Leeds Wheel of Light. Enjoy a selection of food and drink stalls serving traditional favourites including doughnuts, churros, hot chocolate and more!

Head to Kirkstall Abbey this half term for a family-friendly trail looking for birds of all shapes, sizes and both native and exotic. Explore the Abbey grounds and see how many bird species you can spot. Little ones can let off some steam at the outdoor playground or wander through the woodlands by the River Aire.
