Get ready to tumble down the rabbit hole because Wonderland Awaits is taking over Leeds city centre this summer and it’s going to be curiouser and curiouser at every turn!

Inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, this free city-wide trail transforms familiar streets into a storybook playground packed with oversized installations, mischievous characters, mind-bending puzzles, and surprises galore.

Expect to meet the famous Caterpillar (voiced by Marcus Brigstocke) dishing out sleepy wisdom, spot the grinning Cheshire Cat (listen out for Tom Read Wilson’s purr!), join the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, face the fearsome Jabberwocky at Royal Armouries, and try not to lose your head at the Queen’s Croquet Ground at the brand-new Aire Park!

But that’s not all — this summer Leeds is bursting with extra Wonderland fun:

• Fabrication Leeds (Briggate) will be hosting daily Alice-themed adventures:

Create your own masterpiece at the Alice in Wonderland Stamping Station. Go on a mini-quest with Find the White Rabbit — spot where he lives and claim a prize. Join drop-in sessions to make rabbits, craft with origami, or get stuck into kids’ crafts on select dates

• Wonderland Creative Hub at John Lewis & Trinity Leeds Craft Club will keep the creativity flowing with more workshops.

• Classic film screenings at Hyde Park Picture House – rediscover the magic on the big screen.

• And don’t miss the giant deck of cards above Briggate, surprise pop-ups, and theatrical performances!
