Chapter 81

Trinity Leeds has welcomed a double dose of Korean culture, with the arrival of two exciting new additions, a K-beauty pop-up and a permanent Korean street food favourite, injecting fresh flavour and flair into the city centre.

As Korean and Japanese skincare continues to dominate global beauty trends, Saku Superstore has launched a new pop-up at Trinity Leeds, bringing the very best in Asian skincare to local beauty lovers. Located near Pandora, the kiosk opened on Wednesday 24th April and will run until Wednesday 18th June. Shoppers can discover a curated selection of cult K-beauty products, from gentle cleansers and hydrating toners to powerhouse serums and moisturisers – all with expert consultants on hand to offer personalised skincare advice.

Meanwhile, Clapping Seoul – the Korean street food brand that captured the city’s attention with its previous pop-up – has now made Trinity Leeds its permanent home. Located in Trinity Kitchen, the new spot serves up bold and authentic flavours, including crispy Korean fried chicken, rice bowls, cheese-filled corn dogs and loaded fries.

In fashion news, alternative streetwear brand Damaged Society has reopened on the ground floor of Trinity Leeds with a new look and feel. The refreshed store features an expanded range of streetwear staples from brands like Vans, Dr Martens and Fearless Illustration, as well as band merchandise, accessories, and the brand’s own edgy apparel line.

Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds, said:
“As a leading retail destination in Leeds, we’re constantly evolving to bring fresh, exciting experiences for our visitors. The arrival of two Korean brands, Saku Superstore and Clapping Seoul, adds a dynamic new layer to our centre.

“We’re committed to offering a unique blend of culture, fashion, beauty and lifestyle all under one roof – and we look forward to unveiling more exciting announcements this summer.”

Whether you’re looking to upgrade your skincare routine or indulge in a flavour-packed street food fix, Trinity Leeds is serving up something fresh for everyone.
