📸 A day out in Leeds with Yard Act
Check out our photo diary as we hung out with Leeds band Yard Act for the day.
Embarking on a whirlwind celebration of their new album “Where’s My Uptoia?”, Leeds-based band Yard Act took fans on an unforgettable journey through the city’s heart on 2 March 2024.
We started the day at Kirkgate Market, where the band engaged with their devoted followers (some queueing for over an hour), signing albums and showcasing exclusive merchandise. Transitioning seamlessly to Crash Records, Jay and James from Yard Act showcased their creativity with a captivating live dub remix. They then hopped onto Jumbo Records, where the band engaged in a lively interview with the witty Nish Kumar. The festivities reached a crescendo at Belgrave Music Hall, where Yard Act did the first pour of their very own beer with Anthology Brew Co, aptly named Dream Job, serving pints to eager fans.
The grand finale occurred at The Social, a vibrant bar where the band and their friends took over the DJ booth, ensuring a night of lively tunes and infectious energy. The day captured the essence of Yard Act’s deep connection with Leeds and the lads now head on tour for the next two months..
