Someone You Loved, Somewhere You Love: Capaldi Conquers Roundhay Park

If Friday was the party, Saturday was the singalong. Lewis Capaldi closed out day two of Roundhay Festival with the kind of set that turns a hillside of strangers into one enormous choir — every word of Someone You Loved sung back at him across the park. Earlier, Conan Gray brought the drama and the wardrobe to match, while over on the East Stage there was a homecoming of sorts: BER, who studied at Leeds College of Music before breaking out internationally, back in the city where it all started. Two days in, and Roundhay Festival already feels like it belongs here.
