Leeds’ Rising Lionesses: Inside the Leeds Schools U14 Girls Team

Leeds Schools Girls U14s are having a remarkable season, and Welcome to Leeds is proud to support the team as shirt sponsor while they continue their journey through the league, the Yorkshire Cup, and now a national final. In this short video, we catch up with lead coach Matt Wainwright alongside captain Audrey Wainwright and striker Allegra Sandoval to talk about the season so far, the team spirit that drives the squad, and what it means for the players to represent Leeds Schools on such a big stage.

With just five league games remaining and a Yorkshire Cup semi-final on the horizon, the team are also preparing for a place in the national final, which is expected to take place in June.
