Leeds legends join forces with orchestra magic for a huge summer party

Chapter 81

There are some names that instantly take Leeds back to packed dancefloors, late nights and unforgettable club moments. One of those names is Utah Saints.

Now the electronic music pioneers are returning to their home city with something seriously special. They are bringing a huge outdoor dance celebration to Millennium Square, and it could easily become one of the biggest party nights Leeds sees next summer.

Club Classical Ibiza lands on Friday 26 June 2026 and promises a full evening of classic dance anthems, live vocals and an orchestra performing alongside some of the most loved names in club music.

When dance music meets Opera North

The real magic of this event comes from the collaboration with the Opera North orchestra. The partnership brings together two huge parts of Leeds culture. You have the energy and nostalgia of dance music and the power and emotion of a full live orchestra. The result is expected to be something genuinely unforgettable.

Fans can expect orchestral versions of their classic tracks, including Something Good and What Can You Do For Me, alongside a full set packed with dance floor favourites.

Speaking about the show, the duo said bringing the event back to Leeds makes it even more meaningful because the city has always been at the heart of everything they have done.

The line-up is stacked with artists who helped shape dance music for generations.

Global dance star Rozalla will perform her legendary anthem “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good),” giving the track a powerful orchestral sound that feels both nostalgic and brand new.

Joining her are rave favourites Shades Of Rhythm, who will bring their classic tracks to life with orchestral backing for the first time in Leeds.

There will also be a performance from Janice Robinson, whose vocals on Dreamer helped define an era of dance music. Her performance with the orchestra is expected to be one of the emotional highlights of the night.

A celebration of Leeds dance culture

The night also welcomes Leeds DJ and broadcaster Andi Durrant, who will be spinning tracks across the evening. As a long-time champion of dance music through radio and The Dance Music Archive, his involvement adds another strong Leeds connection to the show.

Club Classical Ibiza feels like more than just a gig. It feels like a celebration of the city’s long relationship with dance music and club culture. Utah Saints helped shape that story during the early 90s and continue to influence it today.

Club Classical Ibiza takes place on Friday 26 June 2026 at Millennium Square in Leeds.

Tickets cost £35 for general admission or £32.50 when booked as a group of four or more. They are available through the Millennium Square website, Leeds Ticket Hub or by phone.
