Live Laugh Leeds: Comedy Roundup – November 2025.

We’re deep into the serious business of autumn – the season of big coats, darker nights, and, apparently, what one local weather presenter once called “backendish” weather. Odd phrasing aside, it’s the perfect time to warm up with some top-notch comedy in Leeds.

Here’s your November guide to the best comedy shows and stand-up nights across the city.

first direct bank arena

Big names continue to roll through the first direct bank arena this month. Peter Kay returns on 7 November, bringing his trademark northern charm and observational brilliance. If you prefer your comedy a little edgier, Aussie firebrand Jim Jefferies takes to the stage on 15 November.

Leeds Grand Theatre

The ever-popular Chris McCausland is back on 2 November, offering his sharp, insightful humour. Then from 11–29 November, the theatre transforms for what many call the greatest musical comedy of all time – The Book of Mormon. (We’ll accept no arguments.)

City Varieties Music Hall

A stellar month at the City Varieties includes Urzila Carlson (5th), ventriloquist-turned-stand-up Paul Zerdin (6th), and the ever-brilliant Stephen Bailey (7th).

The Wardrobe

Catch some of the best comedians on the circuit at The Wardrobe, with Matt Richardson (13th), Ria Lina (19th), and online sensation Josh Baulf (20th).

The Glee Club

As always, The Glee Club Leeds delivers weekend laughs with its signature comedy nights – plus special appearances this month from the fantastic Joe Lycett and the hilarious Michelle de Swarte.
