Raise a Glass: NoNo Wine Bar Marks Six Months with Autumn Wine Festival

Leeds’ wine scene has a new reason to celebrate. Just six months after opening under the Dark Arches at Granary Wharf, NoNo Wine Bar is hosting its very first tasting festival — and it promises to be a treat for both seasoned wine lovers and curious first-timers.
On Sunday 14th September 2025, the bar will launch Pour Preview 2025, an afternoon dedicated to discovery, good vibes, and more than 50 wines to explore.
What to Expect
Pour Preview isn’t your average tasting event. Alongside the chance to sip through a huge selection of wines, including fresh autumn arrivals and the afternoon will feature:
• 50+ wines to try, from crisp whites to bold reds
• Live music from Leeds favourite Lucy Robinson
• A keepsake NoNo tasting glass to take home
• Light snacks created to pair perfectly with the pours
• Guided by the knowledgeable NoNo team, the event aims to make wine tasting as fun and approachable as possible — no snobbery, just exploration.
NoNo’s First Six Months
Since opening in March 2025, NoNo has quickly become one of the city’s most exciting new drinking spots. With 68 seats tucked beneath the arches, it blends a cosy, relaxed atmosphere with a wine list that champions terroir-driven bottles from across the globe.
The bar has already made waves with its unique collaboration with BaoBros23, introducing Asian-fusion small plates designed to pair with NoNo’s wines. Alongside tastings and lively evenings under the arches, it’s carved out a welcoming space where people can enjoy wine without pretension.
Co-owner Polly Sands says the festival is about building on that sense of discovery:
“NoNo has always been about giving people the chance to taste something new, without the fear. Pour Preview takes that to the next level — 50 wines to explore, snacks to nibble, live music to set the vibe, and even the chance for our guests to help shape our autumn wine list with their own ‘Pick of List’ choices.”
