LIFI23, which was held at Leeds Playhouse, featured a brilliant line-up of speakers who addressed some of the most important issues of our time in front of an estimated 5,000 spectators.

While campaigners and industry leaders joined Davina McCall MBE to start a discussion on women’s health, Steven Bartlett presented his insights about how to be an entrepreneur.

Rob Rinder MBE urged the audience to be wary of the law, and Ruby Wax OBE discussed the importance of mental health.

Over the 11 events, 39 speakers addressed the stage and answered audience questions, with an incredible reaction.

“What a week,” said festival director Martin Dickson, “the atmosphere at the legendary Leeds Playhouse was spectacular each day, and the conversations that you could hear were, to put it mildly, inspirational. Many thanks to all of our speakers and the attendees who came and participated in the varied topics. Next week, LIFI 24 will start production.
